White Mountain Basic Vanilla Ice Cream (Starts with cooking custard)

Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
Directions
- Step 1 Separate the eggs and make a soft custard of the milk, egg yolks and sugar.
- Step 2 Beat the egg whites stiff and over them pour the warm custard and mix thoroughly.
- Step 3 Add the vanilla and salt, when cold, the whipped cream. Freeze according to your freezer instructions.
