Smoked Beans /Uses Pork and Beans

Ingredients
  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • 1/2 pound pork barbeque
  • shredded
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • chopped
  • 2 jalapenos
  • seeded and chopped
  • 1 large Vidalia onion
  • chopped
  • 4 stalks celery
  • chopped
  • 3/4 cup barbeque sauce
  • 2 tablespoons prepared brown mustard
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 shakes hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 bottle beer
Directions
  • Step 1 Mix ingredients in a sturdy aluminum pan or an old pot–don’t use your wife’s favorite as it will get black.
  • Step 2 Smoke beans for about 6 hrs. (or until the ribs are done).
