Ingredients
  • ****Master Barbecue Spice
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • (dried)
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • ***Basic Kansas City Barbecue Seasoning
  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup garlic salt
  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1/4 cup seasoned salt
  • 3/4 cup Master Barbecue spice
  • 2 tablespoons onion salt
  • 2 tablespoons celery salt
  • 2 tablespoons chili seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
  • Step 1 Mix all ingredients for the Spice first
  • Step 2 Sift remaining ingredients and Spice together. Store in an airtight container away from sunlight.
  • Step 3 To use, sprinkle ribs, brisket, or chicken as if you were putting on heavy salt and pepper. Yields 3 cups.
