Kurt's Canned Beans

Ingredients
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can white beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can beans of your choice
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 bunch cilantro
- chopped
- 1 bunch green onions
- cut diagonally
- 3 centiliters garlic
- minced
- 2 Serrano peppers
- sliced thin
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dried epazote
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- toasted and ground
- 3 dashes hot pepper sauce
- salt and pepper
- to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Rinse the beans well in cold water. Put into a pot and add the remaining ingredients. If the juice from the tomatoes doesn’t cover the beans (I doubt if it will), add some beer (Preferred) or water to cover.
- Step 2 Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook uncovered for half an hour or more to blend the flavors.
- Step 3 Add more liquid as needed
