Jack's Turkey Burger - Needs your favorite rub

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds minced raw turkey thigh meat
  • no skin
  • 3 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme
  • 1 tablespoon of Poultry dry rub
  • 1 tablespoon minced onions
Directions
  • Step 1 Prepare a wood or charcoal fire and let it burn down to embers.
  • Step 2 In a large mixing bowl combine turkey meat with first 6 ingredients.
  • Step 3 Mix thoroughly and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours
  • Step 4 When ready to grill, form into large patties and grill for 5 minutes on each side or until done.
  • Step 5 Make sure turkey mixture is cold before grilling.
