Eastern North Carolina Bbq Sauce With Herbs

Ingredients
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2/3 cup onion
- minced
- 1 centiliter garlic
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 2/3 teaspoon thyme
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- 3 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon cold water
Directions
- Step 1 Boil all but last two ingredients for five minutes.
- Step 2 Dissolve mustard in water and add.
