Beef Satay Marinade

Ingredients
  • One lemon
  • juice of
  • 2 centiliters garlic
  • crushed
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons peanut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon nuoc cham
Directions
  • Step 1 Marinate thinly sliced meat (like flank) for several hours.
  • Step 2 Put on skewers and grill over hot coals until browned.
  • Step 3 Goes well with hot mustard, peanut sauce or nuoc cham (that’s cham–not nam).
